Oh, dimples. now I understand what you are talking about. I went to allen head bolts because of the annoying clearance issues with headers.
firing order for a stock 302 is 1-5-4-2-6-3-7-8

Chuck, I'd love to tell ya how it sounds but I have yet figured out why it will not turn/ crank. Although I have not tried really hard yet. I just re-installed the starter today. Next thing I need to do is connect the starter to the relay switch. Blah blah blah.... that will be another thread another day. I need to order the Optima tray this week so I can add the battery. Again, another thread another day. But yeah I like the way it looks!

Nope. It wont. I thought it was a 302
