is that a trac bar bushing. i'd replace it . not normal. the bushing doesnt appear to be worn but instead smushed.

its the bushing to the axle pivot bracket.

I seems the bushing has swelled or split. It should be replaced.

what would cause the bushings to swell? when i finished installing the bushings, i noticed they already had the gap in them. would prying the bracket a bit to put the arm back in have anything to do with it? also, i got the poly bushings from summit.
